Prospect High School Marching Band's 15th Annual Band Festival - October 2, 2010

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 2, 2010 for Prospect's 15th Annual Knight of Champions Marching Band Competition. The afternoon/evening competition is open to Class A, AA and AAA bands. Awards will include first, second and third place in Class A, AA and AAA; along with awards to each class for Outstanding Visual, Outstanding Music, Outstanding Percussion, Outstanding Auxiliary and Outstanding General Effect

ADMISSIONS

Adults - $10 Students and Seniors (60+) - $7 Family plan - $25 (2 adults and up to 2 children) Children under 4 - Free Wristbands will be provided which will allow audience members to enter and exit the viewing stands.

SEATING

Seating in the East stands is on a first come, first serve basis. Wristbands will be checked upon entering the East stands. Band members and chaperones are to be seated in the West stands. Wheelchairs will be accommodated with seating near the track at the East stands.

CONCESSIONS

Concessions will be open throughout the afternoon and evening. Pizza, hot dogs, bratwurst, snacks and drinks. Jamba Juice station - and depending on the weather - ice cream!

PARKING

Parking at the school will be limited due to the number of bands attending the festival; with much of the high school parking lot used for visiting schools' buses and equipment trucks. We recommend that you carpool if possible. Parking lot attendants will be handing out maps which shows nearby parking lots, street parking, pedestrian sidewalks and entrances to Prospect's grounds.

FIRST AID/LOST & FOUND Nurses will be on site during the festival. The First Aid station is at the information table outside Door 22. The information table will also serve as Lost and Found.

MERCHANDISE

Programs, event t-shirts, Cavalier merchandise and Band Gear merchandise will be located near the ticket gates. Split the pot raffle tickets will be sold between performances.
