Share your best photos

Here's what we're looking for

• Close-up photos of individuals, sections or small groups (the best shots are taken from only a few feet away)
• Photos of performances showing field formations
• Candid shots from the bus, lunch breaks, goofing off
• Photos of the band staff and volunteers
• Anything else you think band members or parents would enjoy seeing

Using your flash even on sunny days helps to eliminate shadows, brightens colors and adds sparkle to the instruments. It's especially important when you're taking photos into the sun.

We can fix some photo flaws on the computer, but we'd rather not have to. Please only send well-lit, properly exposed photos; the ones you're most proud of.

Here's how to submit your photos

Here are four ways to send in your photos, listed in order of preference:

1. Send JPEG or TIF files from your digital camera
2. Have the photoprocessor put your conventional film images on CD or disk
3. Scan your prints as 72 dpi JPEG images (crop tight!)
4. Provide conventional prints

Drop off CDs or prints at the Kaczmarek's, 225 S. Rammer Ave in Arlington Heights (2 blocks west of Prospect) If you want the prints back, please be sure to let us know and put your name on the envelope.
