Lancer Joust T-shirts and Pins Available for Sale
Due to the recent flooding and cancellation of the Lancer Joust, the Lake Park Marching Band has approximately 200 Joust t-shirts and 450 pins that could not be sold at their competition. Knowing how this cancellation is a great financial setback for their booster group, we are making available the opportunity to help them out by collecting orders from anyone who would be interested in buying these items as a souvenir.
The t-shirts are black and sharp-looking. All of the bands that were to participate in the competition are listed on the back. The T-shirts are selling for $6.00 and the pins for $3.00. Both are priced to just cover their costs. (We are in the process of getting a picture of the T-shirt.)
If you would like to purchase a T-shirt or a pin, please contact Kathy Raeder to place your order. We will send in a group order and Kathy will coordinate delivery of the items. You can email Kathy Raeder at Traeder@msn.com or you may call her at 847-394-0251 to place your order or to ask any questions. Please make your check payable to Prospect Band Boosters and give it to Kathy. The group order will be placed within the the next two or three weeks.
The Lake Park Marching Band organization is grateful for our consideration of their situation and would be thankful for any orders from us.
Band Pictures
Due to the cancellation of the Lake Park Joust the band will have their picture taken at BOA on October 17. The price of a picture is $15.00. Complete the order form and mail it with your $15.00 check, payable to Prospect Band Boosters, to PO Box 63, Mount Prospect, IL 60056 by Friday, October 10. Treasurer's Notes...
If you want to save for other fine arts activities (including private lessons) for the remainder of this school year, or save for next year's band fees, or even start saving for London, you can continue to make contributions to your student account. Proceeds from Manna are deposited every month, usually by the third week. If you wish to use your student account funds, please email pbbtreasurer@yahoo.com and let us know how you would like the money to be used, and we can transfer the money to that organization or private music instructor.
Don't Pay Sales Tax
All purchases for the band are tax exempt. Be sure to download and present the “Tax Exempt” letter from the Department of Revenue to any vendor, and they will not charge us any tax. The PBB Tax Exempt letter is available on the Meeting Minutes and Student Account pages.
