PROSPECT KNIGHT OF CHAMPIONS

The Prospect High School Band Boosters hosted it’s twenty-ninth annual Knight of Champions Marching Band Festival on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Prospect High School.  The competition was a huge success and fun for all who attended. 

More than a dozen bands from across the Chicagoland area, such as PAlan B. Shepard High School, Batavia High School, Dwight D. Eisenhower High School, East Aurora High School, Elk Grove High School, Glenbrook North High School, Harry D Jacobs High School, Huntley High School, Lake Park High School, Mundelein High School, Plainfield North High School, Round Lake High School, Warren Township, Wheeling High School and Rolling Meadows High School. Plus Prospect High School’s very own Prospect Marching Knights performed in exhibition. 

First, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies for the Class A, Class AA, and Class AAA bands were awarded along with Outstanding General Effect, Outstanding Music, Outstanding Visual, Outstanding Percussion, and Outstanding Auxiliary caption awards for each class.  The Dave Morrison Grand Champion Traveling Trophy was awarded to Lake Park High School, the highest-scoring band of the day.

TURF:

Prospect High School has an artificial turf field which will be used for this competition.  Due to improved field drainage, field performance may continue in light to moderate rain.
